Some random pictures from around town:
The maize on the left is the result of traditional methods; the maize on the right is the result of using One Acre Fund inputs (seeds and fertilizer) and farming methods! Speaks for itself!
In addition to maize seed and fertilizer (which we sell on credit), we also provide some sukuma (kale) seeds to help subsistence farmers grow enough to feed their families.
Last weekend, some of my coworkers and I took a trip to Eldoret, a nearby town that has a Nakumatt (large chain supermarket) as well as a cheese factory!
Needless to say, we did a cheese tasting.
And had a delicious Punjabi meal. Yummmmm.
And lastly, indulging my cloud fetish (they are crazy here!):
LOVE IT
